McDonald's is adding a permanent new offering to its menu: chicken McWraps.
The world's biggest hamburger chain says the new sandwich wrap will come in three varieties — Chicken & Bacon, Sweet Chili Chicken and Chicken & Ranch. The company already offers similar wraps in other parts of the world, including Europe.
Coca-Cola to cut 1% of workforce
Coca-Cola says it's cutting 750 jobs in the U.S. as it continues to streamline its business.
The world's biggest beverage maker says the jobs cuts will be across the board and that affected individuals will be notified in coming weeks.
The cuts represent roughly 1 percent of the company's workforce of 75,000 in North America.
Lululemon says pants problem to cost it millions
Fans of Lululemon's popular black yoga pants will have to sit tight.
Lululemon Athletica Inc. executives told investors Thursday the company still hasn't determined the cause behind the too-sheer yoga garb that had to be pulled off shelves and online over the weekend. And officials declined to say when the items would be back in its stores.
The Canadian company said the withdrawal will cost it lost revenue of $12 million to $17 million in the first quarter and $45 million to $50 million for the rest of the year, particularly in the second quarter.
Mortgage rates move lower
Average U.S. rates on fixed mortgages fell this week. Freddie Mac said Thursday that the average rate for the 30-year loan fell to 3.54 percent from 3.63 percent last week.
The average rate on the 30-year loan has been below 4 percent now for a full year. The average rate on the 15-year fixed mortgage slipped last week to 2.72 percent from 2.79 percent last week.
